My Story

My name is Douwe Kruyt and I am 22 years old. I grew up the first 8 years of my life in Italy and America. Ever since I was a child I have enjoyed expressing myself in a creative way. Creating something new is something that has always given me a lot of satisfaction.

I now live and study in Rotterdam and have been making personal commissioned art since 2019. It all started when I had some time left during the corona quarantine and decided to make a drawing of my own house. Many hours and many frustrating moments later I succeeded, I had a drawing that I was happy with. What turned out? People liked it and soon I received requests to make a drawing of other houses as well. That's how Douwedraws started.

After a while, DouweDraws received so many assignments that I could no longer meet the requests on my own. In the meantime, I have put together a team of young art and architecture students who, like me, all have a huge passion for drawing. Together, we take care of the assignments we receive. My team and I all use the same drawing style and quality standards. With an eye for detail, we strive for the best end product that matches your wishes.

I listen carefully to your wishes and together we discuss how the end product should look. I pay close attention to the details and ensure that the drawing captures a unique image that suits you.
